Yesterday's Restoration

We're a restoration company based inside one of the oldest family Harley-Davidson dealerships in the country. The Pattersons have been involved in the Harley dealer business for over 90 years. We restore vintage Harley-Davidsons for customers all over the country and we've even used our experience and talents to restore other vehicles. Items such as Evel Knievel's Mack Truck and Trailer, Evel's actual jump bikes, a military Duece and a Half truck, a military snow tank vehicle, vintage bicycles along with a golf cart that was once used by Saddam Hussein to inspect his troops in Iraq! At Yesterdays we have a large depth of talent and experience. We have a huge passion for what we do. We'd love to help you with your project.

What People Are Saying

  • I had my Dad’s 1948 WR race bike restored by the Yesterday restoration shop. Wow, what a job they did! They truly brought back to life my Dad’s race bike by using pictures and studying every little detail to make it look exactly like new. The restoration team amazed me on how much knowledge they have paying attention to everything from the paint to the engine. The workmanship was impeccable in every way. If you want the job to be done right, I highly recommend Yesterdays Restoration team. You will be very happy! Thanks again for making my dream of Dad’s bike restored reality.

  • Over the last eight years I have had Yesterdays Restoration overhaul/restore/rebuild several transmission, motors, and frames for my vintage motorcycles. They have done the work to my satisfaction, historically correct or as close as reasonable. The entire staff is friendly, answering any questions I have and listening to my suggestions. I will continue to work with them for my future projects. Bill - Silver Lake, KS
  • Thank you Yesterdays Cycle/Historic Harley-Davidson of Topeka, Kansas for the wonderful job you did on my “51” HD. I had always dreamed of creating and riding an old school bobber. Mike, Dave, Bruce, and others helped me build the perfect bike. Larry - Topeka, KS
Bruce Zimmerman and the great staff at Yesterdays Restoration did a fantastic job restoring my 1928 Model B. What makes this restoration so unique is that from my very first phone call with Bruce I felt comfortable and trusted this dealership with the full restoration without ever meeting any of the staff in person. This gut feeling and trust was huge since I was living in Oregon. Bruce kept me updated with what was taking place with the restoration which included detailed reports and photos of the restoration steps. I made a few visits to Topeka over the past few years to see the progress of my bike and finally had the opportunity to ride it and “WOW” I was blown away with the finished bike and it came out better than I ever expected which assured me that I picked the right shop to take on this program. I can say nothing but good things about them. Stu Forstrom - Oregon
