1976 Harley-Davidson SS250 New, Never Started

The 1976 Harley-Davidson SS-250 was a lightweight, street-oriented motorcycle built during the AMF era in partnership with Aermacchi in Italy. Powered by a 250cc two-stroke single-cylinder engine with a 5-speed transmission, it was designed to compete with popular Japanese bikes of the time. What makes this particular SS-250 truly remarkable is its condition—brand new, never sold, and never started. It's an untouched example of Harley’s effort to reach younger riders and diversify its lineup in the 1970s, making it an exceptionally rare time capsule from a unique chapter in the company’s history.
